About Us: At Engineered Tissue Solutions, we are a pioneer in bioactive glass wound care skin substitutes, dedicated to improving patient outcomes through advanced products and exceptional service. We are expanding our 1099 distribution network and seek motivated and experienced Distributors to join our team and drive growth in this novel field.
Role Overview: As a 1099 Distributor for our wound care products, Mirragen and MirraSurg, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and building strong relationships with healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will include promoting bioactive glass wound care solutions, managing client accounts, and identifying new business opportunities. This role offers flexibility and independence while providing the support and resources needed to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share for our wound care products.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare systems.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to educate customers on the benefits and usage of our products.
- Manage and grow your customer base through effective account management and follow-up.
- Provide market feedback and insights to our team to help shape product development and marketing strategies.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in medical sales, preferably in wound care or related fields.
- Demonstrated year over year wound care sales growth.

- Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new product and market opportunities, defining “where to play” and shaping the portfolio strategy.
- Conduct primary and secondary market research, including clinical trend analysis and engagement with KOLs, Advisory Boards, and regional teams, to define customer needs and product requirements.
- Assess market opportunities through segmentation, access, margin, and strategic alignment. Develop market models and build compelling business cases for portfolio investments.
- Product Lifecycle Management – Play a key role in directing product life cycle management, End of Life, and next generation planning.
- Contribute to annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT situation assessment.
- Partner with Marketing, R&D, clinical, regulatory, and operations to support portfolio strategy and product development initiatives.
- Provide on-going field support and will focus on growing the market awareness for Bioactive Glass Matrices
- Collaborate with clinical and health economics teams to build evidence-based value propositions that resonate with providers and payers.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of US competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs.
- Product Roadmap Development: Owns customer input, market data and development of the strategic direction of product road map.
Your Profile:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Science, Business or an equivalent.
- Prefer 3-4 years of experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics in the wound care industry.
- Clinical expertise in medical device product line (wound care preferred) or demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise.
- Proven success in operations, marketing, and product management roles.
- Demonstrated success collaborating as an integral cross-functional team member, gaining influence without direct reports.

The following challenges awaits you:
- Work in close relation with Director of Clinical Affairs, local representatives in their regions, and coordinate with sales mangers team members.
- Support the implementation of any RCTs, visit sites as needed.
- Coordinate clinical activities with designated salesperson to assist in the proper and safe use of ETS products to improve patient and clinical outcomes.
- Monitor ETS email and phone calls and return response in a timely manner to any request or question to include all team members associated with ETS business.
- Be available for clinical calls in their respective regional area and back up for their clinical team members for additional support as needed by corporate office.
- Initiate training for new hire on-boarding with additional training of sales reps whenever needed.
- Represent ETS at industry tradeshows and related surgical conferences.
- Support Marketing Materials as case studies.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Minimum 3 years in wound care in a medical device company preferred.
- Experience working for a sales organization.
- To be able to attend weekly telephone team calls.
- Promote and support a working team environment.
- To be able to conduct in-services request, by the corporate office, or from the independent representative team and / or sales team members that have been approved by each respective supervisor.
- Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in the management of time, travel, and resources related to business.

- Support the Regional Sales Director (RSD) and Executive Area Managers (EAMs) in planning, coordinating, and executing sales activities, events, and training sessions.
