Empowering the body to heal itself.

MirragenĀ® is an intentionally engineered porous scaffold made of bioactive glass fibers and microspheres, designed to create an ideal environment that supports the wound healing process. Unlike typical glass, bioactive glass is a soft, fibrous material that conforms to the wound. It is composed of elements naturally found in your body. As your wound improves, Mirragen is absorbed into the surrounding tissue, eliminating the need for removal.

Safe and effective

While individual results may vary, in a randomized controlled trial of Mirragen, no adverse events were observed.

A synthetic skin substitute

Mirragen is made of natural body elements including Calcium, Boron, Magnesium and Phosphorous.  Mirragen is water soluble and dissolves in the wound bed, and is not made from any animal or human sources.

A variety of wound types*

Flexible and formable, Mirragen is effective at treating a wide variety of wounds.

I am very grateful to this company, I thought that I was going to lose my arm the same way that I lost my leg, but instead Mirragen saved this from happening.
